Funded Childcare

Little Acorns is pleased to offer 30 hours funded childcare for all eligible families.

All 3 and 4-year-olds in England currently receive 15 hours a week government funded early education. If their parents are living and working in England, 3 and 4-year-olds may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare.

 

The Nursery Manager will automatically claim the Early Years Free Entitlement from the local authority for all eligible 3 and 4-year-old children for the standard 15 hours.  However parents must give the Nursery Manager their eligible code from HMRC to validate in order to claim for the additional 15 hours. Parents must also give an eligibility code for claims for the 2-year-old 15-hour free entitlement funding. All funding is available three times per year in line with school terms and each term the total entitlement for each child is awarded to parents by adjustment of nursery fees over the entitlement period.  In accordance with guidelines issued by Early Years, if a child leaves the nursery mid-term, the remaining unpaid Free Entitlement remains the property of the nursery for the benefit of the nursery provision.
