Nursery Meals

Our Nursery provides breakfast, morning snack, lunch and afternoon tea.

 

Pre-school children are developing faster than at any other time in their lives therefore their diets require the right kind of tasty nutritious foods to encourage healthy growth. This means they need good carbohydrates to give them energy, protein to build their bodies and essential vitamins and minerals for healthy bones and teeth.

 

To ensure we meet the children's nutritional requirements, Little Acorns has developed tasty, healthy, balanced and nutritious menus following the Children's Trust "Eat Better, Start Better" guidance. 

These fully nutritional meals are prepared on site daily by catering staff holding relevant Food Hygiene certificates.

At Little Acorns, we also run a number of extra-curricular activities such as baking/cooking lessons, to develop both the child’s developmental skills and understanding of their diet and healthy eating.
